Las Olas Isles
This Fort Lauderdale neighborhood is a series of isles that branch out from Las Olas Boulevard both North and South, nestled between Colee Hammock and Fort Lauderdale Beach (Central Beach). Las Olas Isles is often referred to, as the “Las Olas Isles,” but technically it is the neighborhood of Venice. Most people don’t know it by that name so on this page we will call in “Las Olas Isles.”
Seven Isles Drive has a unique history and is comprised of 7 Isles. The Las Olas Idlewyld neighborhood boasts amazing views of the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal waterway and mega-yacht docks. The town-home condominium section of the Las Olas Isles, Isle of Venice and Hendricks Isle offers waterfront living, docks and none of the headache that traditionally comes with home ownership. If prestige among prestige is for you, consider the Nurmi Isles! There’s a waterfront home for everyone on the Las Olas Isles. Search through the Isle of Capri, Bontona Ave, Coconut Isle Dr, Lido Dr, San Marco Dr, Coral Way, Royal Plaza, Isle of Palms Dr, Royal Palm, Fiesta Way and more.
The Las Olas Isles, along with Rio Vista, and Harbor Beach are host to the most expensive real estate in Fort Lauderdale with listing prices that exceeded $30 million. The best part of the Las Olas Isles and other Fort Lauderdale neighborhoods is the wide diversity of homes and prices. Since east (old) Fort Lauderdale was not a Planned Development from the get go there is a diverse range of property for a wide range of people. One thing is for sure. The property values on the Las Olas Isles will continue to rise.
Las Olas Isles North
The Venice Isles of the Las Olas Isles neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale includes North Gordon Road, South Gordon Road and Hendricks Isles. Not sure why, but the Isle of Venice is not included in the “Venice Isles. This area is North of las Olas Blvd and the Western 2 Isle sections of the Las Olas Isles. Nurmi Isles of the Las Olas Isles neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale includes the Isle of Venice, Fiesta Way Isle, Nurmi Isle and Royal Palm Drive. This section is also on the North side of Las Olas Blvd and makes up the 4 “middle” Isles. These Isles contain single family luxury waterfront homes with the exception of the Isle of Venice. Seven Isles is comprised of 7 Isles that include Del Mar Place which means “Of the Sea”, Castilla Isle which means “Castle”, De Sota after Spanish conquistador “Hernando De Soto,” Barcelona after a “City in Spain”, Aqua Vista which means “Water View”, Pelican Isle and Sea Island. The section is North of Las Olas Blvd and completes the remaining section of Isles on the North Side. Las Olas Isles should not be confused with the entire neighborhood of Venice (A.K.A Las Olas Isles). Located from West To East, the Isles are Mola Ave, Isle of Capri Dr., Bontona Ave, Coconut Isle Dr., Lido Drive, San Marco Dr., Coral Way, Royal Plaza Dr. and Isle of Palms Dr. The area is South of Las Olas Blvd. These Isles are primarily single family waterfront homes with the exception of a few waterfront condos along Las Olas Blvd. Learn more about the Las Olas Isles Neighborhood.
Riviera Isles of the Las Olas Isles neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale includes the homes South of Solar Plaza Drive and the Isles Flamingo Drive, Solar Isle Drive and the Western section of Riviera Isle Dr. The section is South of Las Olas Blvd and is accessible only by going through Idlewyld. This section of Las Olas Isles contain single family waterfront homes. Riviera Isles is the only neighborhood not directly accessible from Las Olas Blvd.! Idlewyld of the Las Olas Isles neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale includes Idlewyld Drive, Poinciana Dr., Sunset Drive, North of Solar Plaza Dr. and the eastern side of Riviera Isle Drive, The section is South of Las Olas Blvd and make up the remaining Eastern Section of the Las Olas Isles. Las Olas Isles Location
Logically, the Las Olas Isles branch off from Las Olas Blvd. The neighborhood is situated centrally between the beach and downtown. Waterfront homes in this neighborhood have no fixed bridges and just about every lot is waterfront property. This Fort Lauderdale neighborhood is primarily single family homes with the exception of Hendricks Isle and Isle of Venice which primarily have townhouse’s and Condos. Within the Las Olas Isles are several smaller sub-division that are created by their separation of other isles of the Venice neighborhood. They are known as Venice Isles, Nurmi Isles, Seven Isles, Las Olas Isles, Riviera Isles, and Idlewyld.
