Flagler Village was slated for massive development in the mid 2000’s and most of the buildings in the area were torn down to make way for new construction. Due to obvious reasons everything came to a stand still. Since then, the vacant land has remained undeveloped but the tide is changing once again. The area is under development again and this can be seen with the development of the apartment/retail buildings along US1 North of Broward Blvd. The area has many modern urban buildings. Many of which are downtown New York style lofts. Certainly worth taking a look at! Flagler Village is about to boom so you better start thinking about investing or moving here before the neighborhood gets priced out.
