Fort Lauderdale Beach Real Estate

Fort Lauderdale Beach neighborhood is technically Central Beach, but you won’t hear anyone say, “lets’ go to Central Beach!” Fort Lauderdale Beach real estate is mixed with condominiums, hotel condominiums and a few townhouses scattered along the way but the stretch of Beach From Sunrise Blvd north to 1st direct oceanfront building is primarily single family homes. There is a lot of new development going on in Fort Lauderdale Beach, so now is the time to get in on the action! The entire North Beach Village will be completely transformed over the next decade. Plans of building a street similar to Lincoln Road is currently underway. It’s an exciting time to live and invest in Fort Lauderdale.

Ocean, sun & Sand!

Fort Lauderdale Beach has been an area of high development! There is a lot of new construction going on and the area will be completely transformed. It started with the ocean front land and is now starting to move to the western part of the beach along the Intracoastal. Recent development proposals show new growth on the horizon for the area in between known as North Beach Village. Plans of creating a small version of “Lincoln Road” is underway. Development on the Intracoastal side features condo projects like 321 At Waters Edge, Adagio Fort Lauderdale Beach and to the interior with Wave On Bayshore.

Fort Lauderdale Beach Location!

It shouldn’t be too hard for anyone to find Fort Lauderdale Beach, since it is one of the largest tourist destinations in the area! However, it is on the east barrier island that stretches from the Harbor Beach Neighborhood at Burnham Point north to Oakland Park Blvd bordering Lauderdale Beach and Galt Mile neighborhoods. With, just about instant access from your home to the beach, the location can’t get much better especially  if you love the sandy beach, ocean views and spectacular sunrises. The Island is accessible by several draw bridges, most notable, The Las Olas Draw Bridge and of course the island is accessible by boat. There are over 2 miles of public beach here that is monitored by ocean rescue, starting in the south from “south beach” also known as Fort Lauderdale Beach Park.
